Caramel cheesecake

Today is a big day... not only is it my 6th wedding anniversary, but it's also my Dad's fake birthday. I say 'fake' birthday, because the absence of a February 29th this year might mean that he misses an actual birthday, but we don't let him miss out on a party. I made this caramel cheesecake. You can find the recipe here - I cheated a little and used Maltesers for the topping. It was very rich and very delicious and will be my driving force at the gym tomorrow morning!

Looking ahead

It's been a rainy week here in Sydney and while it's great for the garden and all, I'm looking ahead and this is where I will be in exactly 4 months time. Sunny Hawaii.
